Much Ado About Nothing - in the Garden 27/8/9 June

Much Ado About Nothing - William Shakespeare

Part of the Hampstead Summer Festival 2024

This summer, we invite you to the shores of Sicily for the intrigue, drama, wit and wisdom of Much Ado About Nothing

Macbeth in 2023 was sold out so we have added another performace in 2024!

These are on 27, 28, 29th June at 7pm and on the 29th June at 2pm.

Each performance will take place in the Garden of Keats House.

It’s the 1960s, and change is in the air … on a sun-drenched island steeped in tradition, the old order is about to be shaken up by new spirit of liberation, as our thoroughly modern heroine, Beatrice, determines not to be “overmastered”. With original music inspired by everything from Sicilian Tarantella to Italian 1960s pop, this is one of Shakespeare’s best-loved comedies, perfect for a visit to the garden at Keats House.

From the company that brought you last year’s Macbeth, you’ll know to expect an exciting and inventive approach to telling this wonderful story, which keeps both comedy and drama firmly at its heart. All three performances in 2023 were sold out, so we have added another one this year!

Reactions to Macbeth:

  • “Oh how much we loved your performance! Looking forward to whatever you perform next year already.”
  • “Magnificent performance last night in the beautiful evening sunshine! Well done to a terrific cast.”
  • “Just a brilliant performance of Macbeth, by a fantastic cast."
