Saturday:             12 to 4pm

DEDICATED CHILDREN'S AREA:

Tuesday               10 to 5 pm

Saturday:              12 to 4pm

Children can borrow books and DVDs during Main Library Hours.

Summer Events in the Garden 2021


 

 

 

We are delighted to announce that  The Hampstead Summer Festival is promoting 4 events this summer, all in the beautiful garden at Keats Library.

SAFETY. 14th June update:  We never assumed any relaxation of regulations  and planned accordingly for your safety.

All events are outside in the garden although there are tents for the Art Fair. 

Track and Trace will apply at the entrance and overall numbers on site will be limited to 50% of capacity,

Stalls and tents are spaced out with numbers inside restricted, masks needed inside.

 

  • Saturday 26th June - THE HAMPSTEAD ART FAIR returns on a more intimate scale. 12-5pm
    • Entry is Free
    • Displays of Art for sale
    • Craft Stalls
    • Art Actvities
    • "Picture The Heath" competition entries
    • School Competition entries
    • Delicious freshly cooked food; wine bar; ice cream


  • Sunday 27th June - Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare.
    Update 23rd June: Sadly Drama Impact have postponed these two performances for reasons beyond their control.
    The new date is SUNDAY 11th July, NOTE LATER TIMES of 15.30 and 18.30
    if you have a ticket, you will be contacted directly to ask if you can come on the new date.

    • A special version on the play designed for outdoor audiences.
    • Performances at 1pm and at 5pm - Tickets are £25 ( Concessions available at £15/£20)
    • This company, Drama Impact, staged Much Ado About Nothing in 2019  to much acclaim from the sold out audiences.

  • Saturday 3 July - 2pm:  The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady by Edith Holden on the occasion of the 150th  Anniversary of her birth
    • A Capella folk group Broomdasher perform their new musical show featuring traditional folk songs to bring the book to life.

  • 4th July Keats Library Family GARDEN PARTY is BACK!   2-5pm.
    • Entry is free
    • Provisional Programme:
      • Birds of Prey on show and demonstrations
      • Storytelling
      • Rhyme-time with Sasha  from 2.00 – 2.45pm
      • Kids’ Art Project  from Orly
      • Children’s books for sale at bargain prices
      • Giant Chess with Bryan
      • Tea and delicious treats provided  by Gail’s to be enjoyed in the lawn; wine bar

The  Hampstead Summer Festival Charity Beneficiaries are the Hampstead School of Art and Keats Community Library.  As we have been unable to fundraise for nearly 6 months we would really appreciate your generosity.
