The Hampstead Summer Festival 2024
The Hampstead Summer Festival is in its final stages of preparation
As ever, there will be a range of events in June and July. It's all free except the Play which is run by a professional company.
Starting with the Art Fair on the 23rd June at Keat House Garden where we hope to avoid that spot of rain. There will be an even larger Art Street on Keats Grove for all to enjoy.
The popular Play-In-The-Garden is back again on 27th to 29th June with Much Ado About Nothing. There will be 4 performances in 2024 as last year it was sold out in advance with people seeing the large posters and hearing from attendees at previous plays here. So sad to turn people away, hence the exta night,
The Keats Community Library Garden Party is back on the 30th June . Our twelve annual parties so far have an amazing track record for excellent weather. Added to a great range of activites to keep the kids happy while the adults could enjoy cold wine. "Best Garden Party we have been to for ages" . Many kids have seen birds of prey for the first time in their lives.
Last, the (really) Big Fair returns on the whole length of Heath Street on 7th July from 12 -5pm.
Music to boogie to and even better stalls selling interesting items. Food consumption justified by the variety of the stand offers.
This Festival contributes the largest single share of our funding and is vital to keep the Library going. The other beneficiary the Hampstead School of Art also share with us and can bring its art and artist to even more people.
Many thanks to all who help in big or small ways to make it happen and above all to the sponsors in Hampstead.
